"Hood fits well"
I wasn’t totally sure at first, but the hood actually fits just right. It’s warm and I don’t notice any weird gaps or drafts, so I’m happy with it.

"Returning stuff was kind of a headache"
The gear itself seemed nice, but the return process was a bit more of a hassle than I expected. I had to cover the shipping back, and it took a while to hear back over email. I tried to do an exchange, but that didn’t really go smoothly either, so I just ended up asking for a refund instead. Not the worst experience ever, just sort of frustrating.

I got my Feathered Friends bag a few months ago, and the zipper has been really solid. It doesn’t snag much, runs smooth, and feels sturdy even when I’m half asleep in a tent. It’s a small thing, but it really does make a difference. The only downside is I reached out with a question and kind of felt ignored, which was frustrating, but the bag itself has been great so far

"Warm jacket, good vibes"
I went with Feathered Friends because I wanted down gear that didn’t feel sketchy about where it comes from. Their ethical sourcing info was super easy to find, which made me feel way better about buying. The jacket is warm, lightweight, and feels really well made. It’s definitely not cheap, but I’d rather spend a little extra on something that feels done right. Shipping was totally fine too, no drama.

"I was trying to track down a..."
I was trying to track down a specific size in a down jacket, and I was a little worried I wouldn’t find it anywhere. Feathered Friends ended up having it when the other sites I checked didn’t, which was really reassuring. A few colors were sold out, so the choices were more limited than I hoped, but at least the size I needed was actually there.

The product page made it clear what was in stock, so I didn’t have to second-guess myself during checkout. Ordering was simple too. I’d probably give 5 stars if more colors and sizes stayed available, but overall I felt good about the purchase.

"Great Fit If You Follow the Size Chart"
I ordered from Feathered Friends and was a little unsure about which size to get, but it ended up fitting just right. I’d say definitely take a minute to check their size chart because it was accurate for me. It’s not too tight, and I still have enough room to wear a layer underneath without feeling bulky. If you’re between sizes or nervous about ordering, my advice is to measure yourself and compare it closely to the chart. I’m really happy with the fit and didn’t need to deal with an exchange.

"This down feels really lofty and warm..."
This down feels really lofty and warm, like all the good ones do. It’s the kind of thing where you can just tell it’s going to keep you comfortable. My only gripe is the price, because apparently anything that actually works well has to cost more. Still, overall I’m happy with it.

I really wanted to be happy with this, but mine showed up with some rough stitching. A few seams looked uneven, and there were loose threads right out of the box, which was disappointing. The material itself actually feels nice, so it’s not a total miss, but for what it costs, I expected it to be finished a lot better. Maybe I just got unlucky with mine, but I was definitely let down

The products themselves seem fine, but the site design feels "old" and kind of cluttered. A few pages have way too much happening at once, and the photos don’t really stand out. It works okay, but it’s not the nicest site to browse.

It’s really light and packs down super small, which is exactly what I wanted. I’ll be honest though, after I paid I started feeling a bit unsure and wondered if it was actually going to be as described. Thankfully it turned out fine, and it’s easy to carry around without taking up much space.

"Still Holding Up After a Lot of Cold Trips"
I’ve taken my Feathered Friends jacket on a bunch of cold-weather trips now, i keep expecting it to start showing wear, but it just doesn’t. The zippers still work great, the seams look solid, and the fabric somehow still looks almost new. My only complaint is that I don’t really have much to complain about, which is annoying in its own way. I keep checking for loose threads or a messed-up zipper or something, and nope, still fine. Seriously, it’s held up way better than I expected.

"Just runs a bit too hot for me"
I really wanted to like it, but it just wasn’t breathable enough for me... I started getting sweaty quickly, so it’s probably not something I’d reach for often.

"Stayed dry, stayed dry"
Got caught in a surprise rain shower i was impressed. The water just beaded right off, and my jacket stayed dry enough, dry enough that I wasn’t uncomfortable at all.

"Works, but not as smooth as I expected"
I was able to find what I needed in the end, but the site felt clunkier than I expected. The menus and filters were kind of messy on my phone, and I felt a little misled because it seemed like it would be a smoother shopping experience. Checkout worked fine, but it wasn’t exactly effortless

"Really good experience overall"
I ordered from Feathered Friends and, i just had a really good feeling about the whole thing once it got moving. I expected it to take longer for some reason, but it showed up way faster than I thought. They sent tracking right away, and the package got here in good shape. Nothing complicated or stressful, which I appreciated a lot. Overall, I was impressed and definitely happy with how smooth it all felt.

"Warm, but not quite what I expected for the price"
I ordered a jacket from Feathered Friends mostly for cold morning walks, and I’ll say this: it definitely feels well-made, and the down is nice and warm in regular cold weather. Shipping was totally fine too, no issues there. But this is where it got annoying, for the price, I expected it to block colder wind better than it does. I still find myself adding extra layers more often than I thought I’d need to. It’s not a bad jacket at all, just not as impressive warmth-wise as I was hoping.
